Example of stopping backing track, with Pedal Steel soloing. Just trying out the concept to see if this works.
Trying some variations, after pedal steel soloing going into the 2nd part of the melody. Trying going up an octave for the 1st part of the melody. Riffing on the 2nd part of the melody an octave up.
Trying an effect in the slow motion parts honing the effect in. New 2nd part to 1st melody part, generally developing the pedal steel parts.
Added in a 2 chord to create more progression. Slo Mo sounding pretty good to me. Progression in melody is – 1>2>7>Slo Mo>Repeat. Tried getting a few variations into the melody. Think this will more or less do as a template for the final composition once I have the video to work to.
